Lab #10 - CertExams Labs 4.1.1, 4.1.2, 4.1.3, 4.2, 4.3 & 4.4
Objectives:
1. To become familiar with the different features and components for the different types of printers.
Procedure:
a. Complete virtual labs 4.1.1, 4.1.2, 4.1.3, 4.2, 4.3 & 4.4 from CertExams A+ Lab Simulator, submit the images and be prepared to answer questions about the procedures.
b. The questions that will come from these labs are:
1. Which part of the laser printer paper path will get really hot? How hot can it get?
2. Which part of the laser printer gets an electrical charge on it? It can be as high as is 600V so need to be careful inside the printer.
3. What part of the laser printer does the charging of the part from question number 2?
4. In lab 4.3 it lists the process that will generate the laser beam.
What device provides the guidance for the emission process?
5. What type of printer sprays the ink onto the paper?
6. What type of printer would be used with a point of sale machine to print out receipts?
c. Take all these images and answers and put into a document and upload it to Lab #10 assignment. Each image and each question is worth 5 points for a total of 60pts. for the lab submission.
