Lab #5 - CertExams Labs 5.6, 5.7, 5.8, 5.9&5.10
Objectives:
1. To become familiar with the NTFS and Share permissions, network speeds, MSCONFIG and File attributes.
Procedure:
a. Complete virtual labs 5.6, 5.7, 5.8, 5.9 and 5.10 from CertExams A+ Lab Simulator, submit the images and be prepared to answer questions about the procedures.
b. The questions that will come from these labs are:
1.Which file permission is stronger (NTFS or Share) for access in a Windows computer?
2. Can you determine your network speed and tell me is it wired or wireless?
3. Of the commands covered in Lab 5.8, which one cannot be used while the computer is running Windows?
4. Which tab in MSCONFIG is not available for configurations in that utility anymore for Windows 10 or 11?
5. Can the file attribute be changed and how?
c. Take all these images and answer and put into a document and upload it to Lab #5 assignment. Each image and each question is worth 5 points for a total of 50pts. for the lab submission.
