Command Line
Objectives:
To
become familiar with the using the command line in Windows.
You won't be using the software LabSim for this lab.
Procedure:
Windows has many command line tools that a tech can use to help fix and repair a system. To find out options (switch) about any command just type the command, a space and /? ( dir /?). You will see all the options (switches) for that command listed on the screen with examples at times. I want you find the commands below, (1) show me one way to use the command with a switch (there can be many different switches to choose from) and (2) explain to me what the command does with the switch you choose.

Example: "format G: /fs:NTFS" (format a flash drive with NTFS file system)

Telnet is turned off by default in the latest versions of Windows, so in order to watch a Star Wars movie, you must first enable telnet by going to Control Panel › Programs › Turn Windows Feature On or Off (Windows 10 - Settings- Apps & featrues - down to bottom of page to "Program and Features" - takes you to control panel) and ticking both the telnet check boxes. After doing that, follow the steps given below:-
