Step 1  Disaster Recovery Windows Server

What were the things that can be done to prepare for disaster recovery?

 Step 2  Installing Features

Install the features of Failover Cluster, Load Balancing and Windows Server Backup first then you may need to re-boot, which means you may need to go out of the virtual server and come back in. 

What will these features do to help recovery?  

Step 3 Server Backup

Setup or go through the process of setting up a backup. Server Manger> Tools Windows Server Backup

What would you need to add to the current server to be able to create a backup?

Step 4  Failover Cluster

Take a look at the Failover Cluster Manager. You may not be able to create one since you are the only server in your domain. What would you need to add to this server to be able to do Failover Clustering?

Step 5 Load Balancing

Can the network load balancing be added to your server? If not why?

Which would be easier to implement Failover Clustering or Network Load Balancing? What is one advantage for each?
